Abstract
This article draws on a focused ethnography with eight Arabic-speaking Muslim women in Finland, conducted in Arabic during Ramadan 2026. It uses their accounts of what the Finnish integration system measures, what it misses and what they have built in its gaps as a starting point for rethinking how integration services are designed.
